So this will be two posts in a week, that must almost constitute a comeback
Hope you like this one, its one of my new favourites, taken after the grey veil of gloom finally lifted and we were treated to a beautiful end to the day after all the snowfall last week.
For all the talk about the chaos and disruption it caused across the UK, this early winter cold snap has meant a second chance for me to explore my favourite isle of wight landscapes in what used to be very rare snowbound conditions.
Very little needed to be done in the way of post production here, the late afternoon light (very low in winter) was just perfect, and everything around me seemed to be glowing in the golden hour.
High resolution versions of this and several more from my snowy adventures are up on my website. www.jasonswain.co.uk
A beautiful capture of a lovely scene. Really says winter. Love how you captured the snowy crestline of the cliffs. Seems an unusual contrast with the bright blue water. Love the distant mists you managed to include. And, the little dog paw prints in the immediate foreground, too. Wonderfully composed. Thank you.
Thanks for the kind words, the snow was a rare treat here and i absolutely loved the opportunity to get out there and photograph it.
