I like this portrait for the spontaneous expression of the woman. Nice the detail in the background. All is simple and elegant. 10+ Ciao

The pose adds an interesting, if not dramatic affect. Like how you softened the light coming from the window behind. Just a question: why don't you display your exif information?

Thanks both for your comments.

@Bobwed. I think my exif info gets lost during post processing. I don't strip it out on purpose or am I missing a setting somewhere?

very fine portrait, excellent b&w editing, and i like how the jewelry is in harmony and the detail of the skin, thanks

Thank you for your answer. I have seen this phenomena in the work of other shall I say "exceptionally expert" photographers such as your photography indicates you are. I suppose it must be characteristic of the edit software they use in common. Thank you, once again.

I'm no expert, trust me - very much still learning but thank you all the same. In fact this is one of the very first 'street' shots I've ever tried so I think more luck than judgement. I only use PSE 9 for editting.

If you look at some of the other photos in the Lanzarote set you'll see some not so good photos and even more reside on my hard drive!

The exif info can be found on my Flickr page - It only seems to be this site that doesn't like it!

I'll try a couple of things and try and get the exif info up on future posts though.
