I actually went out to take a photo of the morning mist rising off the field but as I got to the gate, I disturbed a flock of birds some distance away. I just pointed and clicked away as I panned and followed their take-off.
Fortunately, they all went in the same direction otherwise it could have been a bit of a mess!
