Your photos are TO. DIE. FOR. I could only hope to take a picture this amazing some day... This may be a silly question, but how do you get your photos so clear and sharp? I feel I could reach out and touch those rocks!
I am very careful during setup to try and capture the sharpest image possible. This means using tripod, mirror lockup, and a cable remote to reduce/eliminate any vibration that would rob detail. I am also mindful to avoid diffraction by choosing an appropriate aperture. I use depth of field preview to make sure all is in focus before taking the shot.
Post production, I use a range of utilities produced by a company called Nik Software in conjunction with Apple Aperture 3.0.
