Love the clarity and yet softened colors. Very well composed. Must ask, was the lighthouse intentionally built in the surf or has erosion threatened its location?

The lighthouse stands at the entrance to the Mersey Estuary near Liverpool. It isn't a very wide waterway and hence the lighthouse is close to the shore.
