This photo seems a good example to point out the shortcomings of using a cellphone to photograph with. Can't help but notice the shadow of your finger in the upper left corner. It is difficult to hold a cellphone because of its odd shape when shooting. Also, the horizon is slightly slanted. Most digital cameras offer a grid pattern on their screens to help the photographer level the horizon as he composes the frame. At some point after you've played with photography on your cellphone you might consult Mark's reviews to find a good camera to use. I began my interest in digital photography exactly the same way you have - with using my cellphone at first. Good luck.
