I like it. I like the fine b/w toning. The crop focuses attention of the subject. The fine sky background gives just enough context. And, the sky is quite beautiful. Don't mean to argue with anyone. But, I like it.
I just studied it for sometime. It is a fascinating sight to behold. Just makes you wonder at the ancient people's ability. Makes me feel both small and a part of them. A common rough hewn thing. But, at the same time uncommonly beautiful and inspiring. Just like your wonderful photography. Thank you.
This is an actual shot taken on the Burren in Ireland - nothing has been cut out..perhaps it is the contrast of the stone against the sky that has given you this feeling..........Gerry
