Back again, Jon. I have been thinking about this photo all night. Why do I like this over-exposure? The reasons are these: Typically, in an overexposure there is sharp contrast between shadow and lighted areas that blow one another out. However, in this case the shadowed areas are bright enough to illuminate what is in shadow. Also, it seems to me that the scene is well balanced with shadowing on both sides and light in the center; and balanced by the soft pastel coloring with green & pink on the right and soft yellow pastel on the left. Visually, seems to me, this is an exceptional composition. And, an exceptionally well done use of overexposure. I like it. Goes to my favs. Thank you.
