Golden Dancer

A second shot of a Rajasthani Dancer from the one performance.

Please note the hand gesture is part of the dance and not as we in the western world would take as an offensive hand gesture

Hi Angela
thanks for the complement

Aye I was very hesitant about posting this dance, it is one of the hand gestures within and as part of the dance as a whole. Its doesn't mean what it means in the western world. In truth I do not know the tale that is told through this dance. One thing I plan to learn about, as the dance is stunningly beautiful and electrifying

Hi Roberto
thanks for taking time to leave me feed back, I'm glad to learn you like the timing in this image.
Its a favorite part of the dance, where the lady's begin to spin with ever increasing speed. One never sees their faces as the head Vail is always covering them leaving only the mouth clearly seen.
I am hoping this year I shall be able to capture similar shots of the ladys as they dance
