The Sparrow and the Pigeon

While I awaited to capture this Pigeon as it lifted from the power-line, this wee sparrow flew into frame. I know sparrows are the most common of birds, but I have always love their character, and so they would be my favorite common bird

Hi Roberto thanks for taking time to leave a comment. Yes I struck luck with the sparrow lol. The smaller the bird the faster the wing beat the harder it is to capture.

Very much like how you color matched the framing around the cropped capture's background. But, not quite sure that I understand the lines in the photo. The one the bird is sitting on is a wire. What is the line immediately below the wire? As it is a match and parallels the bottom line of the cropped frame it seems it is a second bottom frame line. But, I don't understand its purpose. What is its purpose?

Hi Angela, yes the sparrow defiantly makes this shot, which is why it wasn't deleted lol

thanks St James, I do love the little guys.

Hi Bob, thanks for the comments and complement. As to teh Lines they are both wire's. The one the pigeon is sitting on is the main cable to my own home, while the wire below /behind it is one of the power lines leading to the neighbors.
Yes I could have Photoshoped it out, however I like the shape the two lines make, in the space between them on the left hand side of the image. One straight the other curving upward. They add an understated element of interest. So its purpose is for the sake of art, and art doesn't always have to make sense Smile
