All Saints Edmonton (London UK), my wife’s church. Sadly it has been put on the “At Risk” register (being Grade II listed) and needs £500,000 of restoration. The Vicar has come up with a great fund raising activity to kick off with, so this Saturday 30th April my wife and I will be doing a sponsored walk from Edmonton to Saffron Walden. 42 miles in 1 day!
There is more information on her blog at http://maulsbeingcreative.blogspot.com/search/label/All%20Saints%20Sponsored%20Walk%202011
This will be updated on the day of the walk by our son so you can see how we fare.

Thanks Bob, on the day we need to walk on average around 3 miles an hour, we will probably start out around 3.3 to 3.5 slowing to around 3 or slightly less at the end. On our training walks (which we have been doing since September last year) we average around 3.2 3.4 The longest walk so far has been just under 30 miles (twice). And the wife an I have logged over 400 miles in training walks since thenJohn

A very nice architectural image. I loike the vertical not converging lines ande the fine detail of the stones.Lovely the soft tones too and , last but not least, the red point of the door. Fine. Ciao
