Something magic about shooting fireworks: this one is a 13 sec shot but it looks like a high speed shot.
It is just as if a 13 sec film is condensed into a single shot. Makes the exposition calculation totally different than other night shots. Only the aperture is important. Once you are happy with e.g. f8.0, an exposition of 4 sec or 8 or 16 does not make a difference in ligtning for the fireworks (but well for the background). You only put more or less events in a single shot.
