Very much like the warm colored leaves against that fine cool colored bokeh. The color affects and contrasts seem to set off the rain drops visually for me for some reason. I wonder if you or any member might know how color tone and temperature coordinate and balance one another. Just to ask, what does the title Acer refer to about the photograph?
Hi Bob, I increased the contrast in this picture for the very reasons you decribe, the dark leaves showing off the raindrops. I take my photographs in RAW format and then adjust levels of brightness and contrast, even changing the shot settings from daylight to cloudy etc. This is something that is more difficult to do if it is already converted into a JPEG.
