For me, and just for me from my perspective I like your photograph that you posted here. Frankly, I don't know what it is. A disaster could be many things - a fire, dust storm, etc. But, whatever it is I very much like the visual affect.
Normally, if I like a photo I give it a 10 rating because I believe the photograph represents the best the photographer can do. By some other scale maybe a 10 should be something else. But, that is what a 10 rating is meant to be from me. I would give this photo a 10 rating, if it were just up to me. But, it is not in this case. You've said there is a better one over on Flickr. So, it leaves me to conclude that this photo is not your best.
This may surprise you, but most members here also have Flickr accounts and accounts on other sites as well. But, when they are here they are here, not there. So why do I want to go to Flickr? I am here. And, so are you. So please, let each of your photographs stand on their own rather than in comparison to one another. Each is your unique vision; your photo eye; your greatness. Allow me to enjoy each one on its own merit. Thank you.
