Good photo, but I would suggest dropping the exposure a little and bumping the contrast up just a tad bit. The photo is a little over exposed for my liking.
Hopefully you shot this in RAW format so you can make the adjustments without losing a lot of picture info.
I would love to see this reuploaded with a little adjustments.

For myself, and it is only my humble opinion, I think your photo as is is perfect. With regards to your exposure - awesome! The over-exposed background seems to surround and embrace the two subjects as if by a halo of softness. Seems it adds a sense to the emotional moment. To darken the background would simply blend the subjects with their background. As it is it sets the subjects and their tender moment off very well. This is simply my opinion and the why of it. Not to start an argument. But, we all see differently. And, you being the artist and photographer it is for you to say what should be. Well done.
