I was photographing a firework display in Torquay when I saw the way their bursts of mixed colour were lighting up the water infront of me, so I took this shot.
An excellent comp it seems. Very much like the orange tone in center with the high contrasted little island. Interesting, how the rest unfolds with dark shade on the right and bright tones to the left. A very interesting visual balance of sorts it seems to me. Lovely.
Like to share with you this thought - isn't it fantastic the shots we can capture in terms of right place, right time. For me, it is these moments that make photography the thrill that it sometimes is. Those unplanned moments we see and are blessed to capture. I think this photo is just one of those wonderful moments. Thank you.
