This photograph attempts both to merge and to highlight the dichotomy inherent in the architecture of the Louvre: that between the posturing grandiosity of the old world which points outwords to the future and to possibility, and the architecture of the postmodern world, which focuses the eye and the mind on detail and self-consideration, perhaps preparing the viewer for consideration of visual art.
An excellent visual interpretation of contrast. Thank you for the narration, also. As for the photo's individual characteristics, seems to me they reflect a high degree of photographic technical expertise coupled with a fine photo eye and inherent artistic talent. Thank you.
