The Spit a world renown and highly sought from Wind Sailors the world over.
The Spit is located between the mouth of the Squamish river, The North Shore Mountains and piece of the Pacific Ocean called Howe Sound not far up the coast from Vancouver B.C.
Squamish is the native word for Mother Wind and like clockwork the afternoon winds hit this area with perfect winds and gusts for this sport.
I always find peace within me in places like this, where the mountains meet the sea.
