A super capture of an all black bird. Like how you used the lighting to show off his fine plumage. An excellent pose you managed. Love the spread of the wings. Well done.
These birds are very common in my location. In fact they virtually dominate the area except along the distant coast where pelicans and seagulls are more common. The crows have driven off all the birds inland. I've tried to capture them. But, their all black plumage and my weakly contrasting p&s cameras don't do them justice. This is a very fine capture of one. Expertly done and much appreciated as I know how hard it is to have done such a fine job as you. Excellent photography.
I think I have the right to say this and it is no simple platitude. I have tried my best to make a capture like this. And, having tried and failed I at least know what excellent photography it is to be successful at it. Thank you.
