Marvelous editing. Normally, I have great difficulty appreciating such affects due to my already poor eyesight. But, the darkening in the scene makes it very appreciable for me. I love the fine layout with the darkened aspects above and to the rear and the lighter more clear aspect in the foreground. Seems you used your edit skill to compose a fine composition. Well done. Great dichotomy between the raw rushing powerful water and the calm stillness behind it. Makes me wonder what might be just under the surface of the village.
