Hi Bobwed. Someone said that the tracks resemble a WW2 bomber squadron on a mission. That being so, our dog was a fighter plane that drove them out across the lake. Everyone was happy in the end: me having welcomed the geese back; the geese having dropped some "bombs" (not in the photo) and safely got away; our pup feeling like a Top Gun heroine.
