An old dredge was abandonded years ago, sitting in a 'reserve' area, part of the Keweenaw super fund reclaimation effort. On one particular day there was absolutely no wind and an extremely "odd" sky. From the road behind it in this image, the behemoth is not nearly as attractive as getting out of one's car an trudging around the lake to the peninsula from which this snap was taken. Thank you for making the walk. A fine capture. Love the old wreck's unique beauty. Excellent reflection in that still water. Yes, that curved cloud is an unusual feature. It almost suggests there is a hill or mountain ridge there. I had to look twice. A very well composed capture. Thank you, again.
