Close up of an old spool of 2" thick steel cable used to raise and lower mining cars up and down the shafts of the old copper mines up here. While playing with rotation aspects, I had inadvertently rotated just one layer, that happened to have a 50% transparencey, instead of the whole image and love the accidental result. So, here it is. Shot with my first ever digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 950 and digitally dark roomed in Photoshop 7
