A stunning shot Charles,they are beautiful birds,so shy but once you get them together they make a funny noise,they facinate me,i was watching a pair fishing,and i forget to take a shot,i didnt want to disturb them,the click of the shutter,would have sent them diving,and that would be the last i would have seen of them. just how close were you ?? I have never see them fly away when I am shooting them ? You just have to sit there a watch and followed them as they hunt ? I have watch my Blue Heron's for as long as three hours befor they got a fish ????
