I was on my way to run some errands and spotted this 1967 Pontiac LeMans parked on the street in downtown Calumet, MI – and seeing as I always carry my Olympus 8010 tough everywhere, I remembered this week’s Gizmodo Shooting challenge and decided to stop and take a few shots. The owner spotted me and we struck up a conversation, wherein I learned that the car was entirely original except for the block and some internals – he had re-bored the cylinders to make them larger and replaced the pistons to match, enlarged over-head cam and modified the carburetor. The exterior (original paint) and interior were simply kept-up over the years.
