Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh, Northumberland.

This is a picture of the Western aspect of Bamburgh castle. The Eastern side slopes down to the beach. It is still occupied today. Anyone interested in more detail this is a link:

Great shot Mike. Great castle with a great history, it's difficult to find a old building with the great condition like this.

Thank you for the comments Bob. No, I've never participated in the digs, although I enjoy robust good health, my knees are shot to hell from earlier years of weight training, they get me around just fine but hours spent kneeling is a no, no!
