I like the figure walking into the frame but for me there is too much featureless sky, I took the image into software and cropped two thirds off the sky and lightened the figure just a tad and it made a lot stronger image.

Seems to me it is a fine composition as you've seen and captured it. Could it be better? You are the photographer. It is for you to decide. After all it is seen through your photo-eye and no one else's.
