You should have put it on spot metering,-4 is a bit to much.on matrix metering I would not go more than -1,you must have had a dark shot,is that why you did mono.shame would have been a nice shot,hope you don't mind my opinion. Angela

Thanks for the info,I only noticed after I had taken a few shots that I left the setting on auto iso,so yes they were all a bit dark.
