I have also often thought of trees as nerve stuctures extending from the Earth outwards to the the sky, for what reason I have no clue. I don't speak of the notion for fear that people would think I'm Looney Toons. You must have studied anatomy at some point to have come up with such a title. A pleasant image, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Lil. My spouse is a physician and I've spent a bunch of time doing neural network programming. Double whammy on the dendrite exposure. And you're not as loony as you think. Dendrite comes from the Greek word for tree. Seems like a natural to me.
