Lake Vyrnwy, Wales

Lake Vyrnwy is man-made, which was completed in 1888 to supply the people of Liverpool with water (which it still does today). The village of Llanwddyn was submerged by the lake. In dry summers, if the water level drops far enough, the ruins of the old village reappear.

So beautiful. The shore clutter on the left is something of a distraction to me. Otherwise I would easily have given it a 10.

The contrast of the grey overcast sky and the greens is eye catching.
Would it be too much to ask for a larger version of pic ?
