Thanks everyone gav I always liked nikon. I had a d1x and just upgraded to d2x.I have money invested in Nikon glass so that is why I got the d2x.The Canon 20d is use for low light situations.

thanks everyone tootsie the d2x is a 12.6 mpx camera,It has a 2x crop mode witch would make your 300mm lens a 600mm.Yes I like it better then the 20d.It's a new toy for the summer Jan your are correct that is one ugly bird.But he will grow up to be very handsome.
