agree with gav a little more space on the left would be nice.The detail is fabulous.You were using a 89mm zoom lens how did you get so close ? were you shooting through glass ? I always have problems with the green glass at zoo's it effects the color and the sharpness of the photo.

Well, I was hiding under a Thorn Bush on the Masai Mara just as a Pride of Lions passed by 10 feet away... Fortunately this Zoo had no Glass, just a Moat and Wall. I was not that close, this Image is quite a severe crop of the original, it helps to have 12 effective MP to play with.
