I remember that the sea looked almost black and white to me at the time, but the circular polarizer certainly enhanced this effect.
This is part of the entrance to the natural harbour of Pylos (Greece) where a bottled-up Egyptian fleet was almost completely destroyed by a smaller European one in the Greek independence war.
Nowadays, this is a calm and relaxing place.
