great capture, the colours really work. The textures you'ev captured on the flower contrast well with the body of the spider.
improvements: fractionally more distance so as not to clip the leg; move the spider completey on the petals, his rear leg is getting lost; the petal area on the top left is a bit hot.
You've got some good macros here.

Thanks so much for the kind comments and the terrific constructive criticism!! How refreshing. I took this shot (plus a few others of the spider) under duress - this thing was BIG - and yes, it bugged me that I didn't conquer my fears and take more time.

Fantastic shot,and by the way there are not many spiders you need to be afraid of.Think you would be more of a threat to them than they to you.

Very nice shot, only criticism is that some of the spiders legs are a bit blurry and lost against the yellow petals.
