Do you ever take a bad shot? The feathers are to die for!

great shot etfon. colours are wonderful, razor sharp image with great detail. my only one niggle and its a tiny one is id like to have seen the eye in right top 3rd a bit more and whole compostion moved that way. thats just my preference though on an otherwise perfect photograph. well done its a pleasure to look at.

Thanks all for comments...much appreciated! Rich, I believe this one was taken with the Canon 10D (had some trouble with mine breaking down). Used the zoom lens on this, 70-300 Canon. Thanks for comment jaminc...they were gearing up for a big fight and the flapinco moved a split second afterwards, plus lighting is critical on these birds, and they just don't always cooperate by standing in the right spot! :o) desertpea, I take tons of bad shots...just pick the good ones for here. :o))))

Ha Ha etfon yeh i know what you mean. after photographing millitary aircraft for 10 years i know all about things not cooperating when you want them too. Wildlife photos can be a nightmare at times. great photo.
