This is an incredibly beautiful shot. Nit: the black space on the right goes flat, almost like a cutout, since there is no detail there. Just a hint of what's there would be nice...your skies are beautiful. If you have Photoshop (any one of them), use the Highlight/Shadow tool. You can make an edit to a posted photo under "Edit Photo". You also can take it down (delete) and re-post it after fixing.
Thank you Etfon. I will have a look with photoshop in a little while and see if there is anything i can pull out. There is not much detail there really and my worry is that a little detail can almost look flat in an image but i will have a look. thanks for your tips and compliments
Nice pic. Love the location and composition. A polariser lens might have given a more pleasing contrast for this time of day. Has potential for one of those great story telling shots. I would be tempted to camp out at the spot and wait for some golden / unusual light to hit the near mountains. Something in the foreground would also give it that little extra. Perhaps the road could be used to lead you off into the distant mountains. Red light streaks from a car might be intersting, if not too distracting.
