Love the comp, the child's expression, and your selective use of color. Nice one.

Think this is a really striking image, jumps from the screen, selective colouring really works well. One to remember. (wish to whole tap was in) but thats a minor detail great picture.

I didnt realise this was yours donmac, change from the normal, very sweet pic if thats the right word - makes me feel guilty I won now! just a tiny bit too bright on the childs face imho or would've given it a 10... Wink

Nice one. I can understand the slight washout in the face, looks like this one just wasn't ready to stop splashing about. Nice choice of coloring also.

Thanks everybody for comments. The washout in the face was caused by excessive unsharp mask, which was neccessary because the focus was not great. Under the circumstances I was delighted the photo made the voting stage.
Jan, your photo was a worthy winner, and don't be fooled by the sweet smile.
