My Red Barn...

Sometimes the simplest things can be enhanced by beautiful cloud formations. Above is a picture of my favourite “Red Barn” that I pass by everyday.

Beautiful landscape. Wonderful post processing. What software do you use? Assume PS or Capture ...anything else for finishing touches?

I like this composition but I can't help but feel the colors are off a bit, they seem muted to me. Probably just my eyes, I've been looking at a lot of flowers lately. Your right about the clouds. You chose an excellent time of day and perspective for this subject. The cloud reflection on the shadowed side of the barn offers a great show of detail, like spot-lighting. Very good idea.

Yes I really like this composition with the eye being led straight up to the red barn. A great sky (reminds me of that tune by the Orb - ah so this is Arizona?) and the grass, just a lush green. Very nice pix :-)

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and rate my image this week.

-etfon911 - I used both NC 4.2.1 and Photoshop CS to process the image. NC was used to convert the RAW file to tif and set the exposure if required and CS was used to adjust levels and contrast.
