Outstanding! Love the blue serene mist that hovers over the front foreground of the pier. This image has a very mystical feeling to it. My only suggestion would be to clone out the reddish glow on the right section of the pier as I find it a bit distracting.
Wow! I have never seen Birnbeck pier looking so spooky. Have you thought of sending your picture to http://www.nmhvfestival.co.uk/pier.html I'm sure they'd love it.
Again superb composition. Your photoshop skills are great, but as you know I dont agree with warping photography like this. I have dozens of shots I could spend hours modifying, and that look great, if done like this. I dont because I like the natural look. This is very good though for artwork
Im with you on this one Desertpea, Everyone has there own individual way of doing things,it would be soooooo boring if everyone took photos identically, This image in my opinion is nice to look at and well done.
Sorry Maculatus - forgot to say this reminds me of a scene in 'Excalibur' when Merlin made a mist over the water. I didn't mean to let rip, but I'm really getting a headache from Mr Fitz. As you say, ab, life wouold be incredibly redious if everyone had the same way of seeing.http://janpudney.net/ http://jaypea.redbubble.com/

This is a good shot. All my opinions however unpopular need to be made! This in no way is an attempt to slag off other peoples work. Each to his own. I think this guy is a superb photographer, I would just like to see less unrealistic work from him. I am not afraid of competition we all learn from each other. A lot of this type of work has been done so many times before,(long exposure misty water), it's really hard to stand out from the crowd. However good the picture this doesn't sadly. More a case of sticking to a tried and tested formula and afraid to try somethng new
