I like this photo for its attention to detail within the still life composition. I like the way the edges get lost in the darkness, but I think you could achieve that effect without quite so much darkness, which also obscures the details of what is lying on the table. The tall dark space at the top somewhat diminishes the subject matter, which you may or may not have intended to do.
Composition is not balanced, the flowers to the right drag the photo down and distracts you attention from the photo itself.Otherwise a very nice shot.
A nice shot, but for me the subject is too central if the vase was set more to the left I think it may be better. Keep trying though, I think the idea is fine and it is good to see a flower picture in mono.
