Nice shot but would also have liked less background in this shot.It takes away from the butterflies.

I'm going with a 6 because of timing, serendipity and stealth. Agree with kims; gotta get closer. Don't waste the real estate. Also, it's difficult to tell what's going on---there are 2 animals here, right? Is it love or a fight? Be sure to take a billion shots of this sort of thing (from different angles)(getting closer all the while) and then edit like crazy. Great start; now do more. Soon.

I wasn't sure it was 2 creatures until I read Gary's comment. My first impression was 'gee, this butterfly is hard up for nourishment if that's the best he can find (background)'. Beautiful butterfly, would love to see it up close with a blurred background.

Thanks for the comments - I tried getting closer without disturbing them, but no luck. Gotta get me a decent camera and lens!!!
