The focus doesn't seem to be quite on the head and the composition doesn't do it any favours - the background and foreground leaf are very distracting. Apart from the that the detail looks very good, so it perhaps just needed a different angle - perhaps even to get the full wing span in shot.
Thanks for the comments. Would have loved to get a better composition but as it was I nearly fell into the pond.
