I can't make my mind up about this one because the vivid colours obviously owe much to post processing. However I think it deserves to win this competition and therefore give it my highest mark. I can see this as a magazine cover (Have you tried to sell it?)
Thank you all for your kind comments especially as this is the first time I have ever submitted an image into any competition other than my local camera club. The image is 'as taken' with very little post processing. I am very fortunate that our holiday home is within 500 yards of this shot and also very fortunate that the car park in front of the huts was empty at the time (very rare occurance!) which is why the small lampost in the distance didn't bother me. Very bold colours, for me it doesn't matter if people use photoshop to enhance.
Painters have had artistic licence since man invented the paint brush. At the end of the PS cannot make a good photo, it is the photographer who has the ability to see the shot.
I wouldn't change a thing. Interesting sky, wonderful colors, great balance between the sky and the lupins. Don't mind the lamppost at all.
