A nice shot. You suffer from the same problem as me. A bit of haze. Try a skylight filter or a uv one to help cut it down a bit.It's good to see someone giving me something to worry about. I think you are doing fine girl!
Your composition is actually really good it's the haze and over exposed sky.
A haze filter will help,your best landscape tool is a graduated nd filter
(darker on half). You place the darker side over your skies and it stops them down upto 3 times. Also meter on a slightly brighter portion of the pic not the sky,try the top of the hill near the sky and you will have a much better result. Also the only way to manually meter is either center weighted or partial spot metering. Good luck!!! Nice Snap really.
