Composition pleasing, but image is very flat and muddy with all midtones and shadows and no highlights. Try opening the levels adjustment and slide the white point marker in to the left till it meets the base of the curve. Then adjust the middle (Grey marker.)
Thks for your comment and advice. You're right, but I am puzzled the image has become darker after downloading/posting. I have posted again. On converting images to B&W I normally use levels and/or channel mixer.
