AB, Sorry to belabor a point, but I was not happy with my words before. They didn't convey what I was really thinking. This is one of the more evocative photos I've seen here. First there is the colorless day that lends a somber mood to the work. Then there are the worn stones where countless thousands have hurried to and from work every day for centuries, probably, in the same place. Worn, too, I suppose from the boats being dragged in at night and pushed out in the morning. Then the small bits of trash carelessly tossed down as someone hurried by. Nothing much has changed, I'm guessing, in all those centuries except the size and appointments of the boats. Fishermen have to really love the sea, don't they? That is something, at least, of what I wanted to say, but tried to condense the first time. Thanks for the podium

Nice to see somebody have the guts to shoot on an overcast day. Much moodier than the Filter fanatics who want crisp blue skies all the time. Good work
