Nice shot but this one also needs balancing.You would have been better concentrating on just the main rose and leaving the rest out.

I love the clarity of the petals captures here. I agree a different composition would be more complimentary, but very sharp.

I agree with nynavey, and might have cropped this on the left in order to leave out that distracting piece of rose. Put your hand over it and see how things lie in place? Your decision, but if that were not there, I'd have given this an 8. It's a beautiful work in progress.

I agree with all above, central rose is very nice, but the rest is confusing.
