You've done it again Bailbr Another Paramount moment but even better with the moon in the background. Hope this shot didn't take too long to to capture waiting for the stars and a massive P coming around the mountain. This is most probably the best one of the series for me and I salute you!
Regards
Putting myself in your shoes I am assuming that you took several shots and trying to capture a passing cloud just right. You did just that, giving your picture a perfect amount of contrast and interest. Well done Bailbr.

This is a great photo. But however good a pic is, nothing is perfection hence the 9! Sorry just 10's flow too freely on this site! Well done anyway, super composition.
Wonderful amount of detail in this one very clear and sharp, beautifully done. (If I had to be fussy i would say I would like the moon bigger and clearer couldn't you have just stuck a cardboard cut out one in?, ) nice job fab image, great skill.
I disagree about he 10 comments, with regard a perfect picture. A picture is perfect if the viewer thinks it is, if the viewer want's the picture to hang up in his/her home then to the viewer it is perfect, I for one certainly wouldn't choose something I wasn't happy with to hang up on my walls. ATEOTD it is personal and freedom of choice along with personal opinions. This doesn't berate the opinions of others it only adds that we all have differing views, and if we didn't what a boring world we would have.

Fair point. I dont think that a scored system works well anyway to be frank, and is counter productive really. As far as I am concerned way too many pics are getting 10's on this site. And no perfection does not happen, ever. As you say the only realy critic that matters is yourself. It seems this site is more about ego flattering sometimes than selective and positive critics. This is a great picture, but to me is not perfect, none are. In some ways small flaws add style to a pic. It's also a shame some of the top guys dont seem to want to any real critics of their work! I don't think photography is about perfection anyway!
Thanks to all for your continued views and comments and critiques. My progression is one to strive for excellence and progress unfortunately perfection is the elusive carrot. But it is a goal. Herve I would like some clarity on your comments however, please feel free to respond.
you've posted an image with a size of 1700 x 1083 pixels.
When it is placed in the gallery, it is AUTOMATICLY resized to 600 pixels.
As you know, nothing automatic in photography will give you the best result
I suggest you resize your image on your PC, make the last tuning (mostly the last sharpening) and post it back: select your photo on Phb, use the edit photo button on the right below the images, then Select new image; this way your new image will not be changed in any way (and the size of the image will reach something like 150 Kbytes).
Hope it helps and thanks for sharing,
Regards,
Hervé
