With a single capture of a screwdriver against a gray card, I used photo-shops Pen tool to mask the and select the subject, then copied and pasted two instances of it into a new document. After Crisscrossing a set, I merged that layer, duplicated it and moved the resulting layer beneath the original, then resizing it to 90% of the original. I repeated this process multiple times to get the effect of depth, then went back to the original document and grabbed one more full sized screwdriver to bring over and lay down as the top most layer. Shadows were added later.
For creativity this gets top marks, but I find it difficult to comment as far as photography is concerned. Great image! Your work is certainly original and I need to get my head around what you're doing.http://janpudney.net/ http://jaypea.redbubble.com/
