Ye Olde Water Mill Christchurch K750i

Taken with a Sony Ericsson K750i mobile phone, this old flour mill at Christchurch is still operational to this day.
Rejigged by darkening slightly, and more contrast.

If you can take this with a phone I'd like to see you with a Hasselblad! Just lovely. Perhaps a little soft but atmosphere is all. Now where's my wind-up gramophone, it must have a lens somewhere...

Cheers MS, the K750i has a lovely camera built into it, only 2mp and 4x digital zoom, but totally perfect as I always have it with me. Hope you succeeded finding the lens for your gramophone Smile

Hi gm, I'm stumped! I thought the original of this shot was one of the better photos I've seen here. (This rendition isn't so bad, either.) The light was beautiful, the sky beautiful, the play of light and shadow across the building beautiful. The textures, patterns, composition, everything was wonderful. Just suited my taste, I guess. It's still a beautiful shot, though not quite as perfect as it was! Smile Thanks for sharing it.

A nice capture gaz. The image quality is pretty good, seems the camera phones have come on a lot. Handy to carry, still dont think they will replace dedicated cameras though! With reference to the ist comment, a Hasselblad is fine, but even a great camera can take crap shots! You are doing well gaz, keep it up!

Cheers DD and barry appreciate your comments, I will try and get the other image uploaded DD, I am very pleased you liked that one. These phones barry are coming on from strength to strength, but alas, no they won't replace dedicated cameras, well I wouldn't think so, but in Japan at the moment, access to 6 and 8mp camera phones is available, to the Uk it isn't unfortunately, hate to think what the price would be though.
